D: "Oh no, not Celine Dion!"
S: "What's wrong with Celine Dion?"
D: "She's always singing about love and hearts and stuff."
S: "And?"
D: "And, it's depressing."
S: "I thought you were all for love and showing your emotions"
D: "Well, I am. Usually."
S: "Usually? As in not now?"
D: "What does Celine Dion know about love anyway?"
S: "Daniel."
D: "Sorry, that was out of order. It's just these days you turn on the radio and all you get are soppy ballads!"
S: "And I s'pose you'd prefer Marilyn Manson screaming at you?"
D: "Uh, no"
S: "Fact is Daniel, most songs are based on love and attraction these days."
D: "Well "These Days" isn't!"
S: "You're a Bon Jovi fan?"
D: "Yeah"
S: "And you say you don't like love songs? Bon Jovi has sung some of the greatest love songs. 'Always' was a classic!"
D: "I didn't say I didn't like love songs. I just said that they're depressing, at the moment."
S: "Why at the moment? Oh, sorry."
D: "What?"
S: "Well, Sha'uri...."
D: "What about her? Oh. No, I'm not thinking about her. Well, I mean, she's not the reason why I'm finding love songs depressing."
S: "Then what is?"
D: "I......I don't know"
S: "Oh."
[pause]
S: "#Don't give up on your faith, Love comes to those who believe it, And that's the way it is.# What? Oh, sorry."
D: "No it's okay. Never pictured you singing. Actually you have a good voice."
S: "No, I don't."
D: "Yeah, you do. We'll have to get you singing at the next SGC karaoke."
S: "Dr. Jackson, don't you dare!!
[laughter]
[pause]

D: "I believe in love"
S: "So do I"
D: "See?!"
S: "What?"
D: "That song's wrong"
S: "Huh?"
D: "We both believe in love yet we're both single - and that doesn't look like it's going to change either."
S: "Daniel! You found love with Sha'uri."
D: "And she died."
S: "I know. I'm sorry."
D: "What about you? [pause] Sorry, you don't have to answer that."
S: "I've had my fair share of love."
D: "Jonas."
S: "Yeah. And someone else."
D: "Right. Want to talk about it?"
S: "What?"
D: "Jack."
S: "What about him?"
D: "I just thought.........oh. Or not........Okay, forget it."
S: "You think I've got a thing for the Colonel? W......why?"
D: "I dunno, can't we just forget it?"
S: "Actually, yes."
[pause]
S: "I am sorry."
D: "For what?"
S: "Bringing up Sha'uri"
D: "Sam, you don't have to be sorry. You were right. I had a year with Sha'uri - probably one of the best years of my life. That's more than some people get in their whole lifetime."
S: "You will find love again, Daniel."
D: "Glad you're so certain."
S: "Come on, look at yourself. You're so intelligent and caring, passionate and damn good-looking. It's got to be impossible for you to stay single for too long."
D: "W.. wh what about you? You're all those things and more! Whoever that guy is, he's stupid for not seeing it! Whoa...S....."
[pause]
D: "W...what was that?"
S: "A kiss, Daniel."
D: "I mean, uh, hm, [gulp]....."
S: "Forget it."
D: "What if I don't want to? [long pause] You said you believe in love, right?"
S: "We both did."
D: "And according to Ms Dion......."
S: "Love comes to those who believe it...."
[kiss]
D: "I love you"
S: "I love you too"
