Drabble: Empty
Written for the SDR SG4 Drabble Zine
Warnings: It's a little dark.
"How can you be so cold, Daniel?"
Cold. Empty. I'm empty.
"This is Carter. SAM! Our team-mate for four years……."
And my lover for one. One year. I had Sha'uri for one year before I lost her. Now, Sam and I have been together for one year, and I've lost her too.
One year.
Jack doesn't understand; doesn't know how, during the last year, Sam saw through the front I put up after Sha'uri died, how she filled the emptiness left by Sha'uri's death first with friendship, and then with love.
And now she's gone too.
And I'm empty again.
